Domino Sugar Factory
In a recent issue of The L Magazine (Vol. 8 No. 17 August 18 – August 31) I photographed their lead cover article, “Williamsburg’s Last Domino: A Gentrification Time Bomb?.” Here are the images from that story and several additional shots below.

The Domino Sugar factory entrance, still in use by guards and who knows who else. I wonder who employs them? What do they think about the factory and the proposals to convert it into glass box condos? ©2010 harlan erskine

This is one of the most enchanting buildings on the river. It’s too beatiful for words; good thing it’s so photogenic.
