Sugar Decay — The Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, part II

July 03, 2014

We are approaching the final weekend to view Kara Walker's "A Subtlety." I posted about the engaging installation in May. I urge you to check it out this final weekend, Saturday, July 5th and Sunday, July 6th, 11 AM – 7 PM.

In recognition of the final weekend, I'm sharing another set of my images from my shoot. Check out part two of the series below and view the entire set of Sugar Decay in my projects section.

#sears department store officially closed last year. This #flatbush #brooklyn location built 1932 is an #Art Deco relic, a bygone era, and thankfully a protected city landmark.

I wonder what will become of it. Hopefully someone will make better use

I wonder what will become of it. Hopefully someone will make better use of it’s massive parking lot. The city should carve out some of it into a park. 👍🏻
